Music Needs – Used Music Equipment Sales Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Music Needs Used Equipment Sales. When purchasing any second-hand, pre-owned, or refurbished music gear from us, you agree to the terms below.
Please read carefully to ensure a trustworthy and stress-free buying experience.


1. Product Condition

  • All items are used music equipment and may show minor cosmetic wear.
  • Every product is inspected, cleaned, and fully tested before listing.
  • Customers may test the gear onsite during collection to ensure satisfaction.

2. Payment

  • Full payment is required before or at the time of collection.
  • Accepted payments: EFT, Cash, or approved methods on our website.
  • Orders are processed once payment has cleared.

3. Collection & Pick-Up

  • Collections are strictly by appointment between
    09:00 – 16:00 (Mon–Fri).
  • After ordering, we will contact you to confirm a collection time.
  • Items must be collected within 24 hours unless otherwise arranged.

4. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 7 days ONLY if:

  • The item is not functioning, AND
  • The issue was not disclosed before purchase.

Refunds are processed after our technicians inspect and confirm the issue.

Not Eligible for Refunds:

  • Change of mind
  • Compatibility issues (software/DAW/drivers)
  • Accidental damage after collection
  • Cosmetic marks or scratches

5. 3-Month Limited Warranty (90 Days)

Every used item from Music Needs includes a 3-month functional warranty.

Warranty Covers:

  • Internal hardware failure
  • Electrical faults not caused by misuse
  • Functional issues not caused by the customer

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

  • Physical damage
  • Water damage
  • Power surge damage
  • Burnt speakers / coils / capsules
  • Damage from incorrect cables, power supplies, or setups
  • DAW, software, or driver problems
  • Accessories (cables, bags, mounts, batteries, pop filters, etc.)

Warranty Procedure:

  1. Return the item for testing and diagnosis.
  2. If repairable, we repair the unit.
  3. If not repairable, you will receive:
    • A replacement of similar value (if available), OR
    • Store credit equal to the purchase price.

6. Product Accuracy

  • Product descriptions, photos, and tests are accurate at listing time.
  • Because these are used items, small cosmetic variations may occur.

7. Liability

Music Needs is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by incorrect usage
  • Loss of recordings, sessions, or income
  • Software-related problems
  • Computer compatibility issues

8. Customer Responsibilities

By purchasing used gear from us, the customer agrees to:

  • Ensure the item suits their needs before buying
  • Test the equipment during collection
  • Use safe power, cables, and connections
  • Protect the equipment from physical and electrical damage
