These terms are designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring a fair and transparent buying experience.
1. Product Condition
All items sold by Music Needs are pre-owned or refurbished music equipment.
Products may show minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use.
Each item is inspected, cleaned, and tested before listing.
Functional condition is verified prior to dispatch or collection.
Serial numbers are recorded before sale.
Cosmetic wear does not qualify as a fault unless explicitly stated in the product listing.
2. Payment
Full payment is required before collection or dispatch.
Accepted payment methods include EFT and approved website payment methods.
Orders are processed once payment has cleared.
Music Needs reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud or payment disputes.
3. Collection & Pick-Up
Collections are strictly by appointment after payment confirmation.

Items must be collected within 48 hours unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Music Needs is not responsible for items not collected within agreed timeframes.
4. Returns & Refunds (7-Day Policy)
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery or collection ONLY if:
The item is not functioning, AND
The fault was not disclosed in the listing, AND
The issue is reported within 7 days.
Returns must meet the following conditions:
Returned in original condition
No additional physical damage
No tampering or internal opening
All accessories included
Music Needs reserves the right to test and verify all returned items before approving a refund.
Refunds are processed only after inspection confirms a verified fault.
Not Eligible for Refund:
Change of mind
Compatibility issues (DAW, drivers, plugins, software)
Incorrect setup
Accidental damage after collection/delivery
Cosmetic wear
5. 6-Month Limited Equipment Warranty
Every used item includes a 6-month limited functional warranty unless otherwise stated.
Warranty Covers:
Verified internal hardware failure
Electrical faults not caused by misuse
Functional issues under normal use
Warranty Does NOT Cover:
Physical or impact damage
Liquid damage
Power surge damage
Blown speakers due to overpowering
Incorrect cables, power supplies, or voltage usage
Software or driver issues
Accessories (cables, mounts, bags, batteries, etc.)
Damage caused by modification or unauthorized repair
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and diagnostic testing.
If repairable:
The unit will be repaired.
If not repairable:
Replacement (if available), OR
Store credit equal to purchase value.
Cash refunds after 7 days are not guaranteed unless legally required.
Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
6. Fraud & Abuse Prevention
To protect against fraudulent claims:
All devices are photographed and serial numbers recorded before sale.
Internal condition is logged prior to dispatch.
Tampering, part-swapping, or opened equipment voids warranty immediately.
False claims may result in refusal of service and blacklisting.
Music Needs reserves the right to charge a diagnostic fee if no fault is found.
7. Limitation of Liability
Music Needs is not responsible for:
Loss of recordings, sessions, or income
Software compatibility issues
Damage caused by improper installation
Incorrect electrical setup
Third-party modifications
Our liability is limited to the purchase value of the item.
8. Customer Responsibilities
By purchasing from Music Needs, the customer agrees to:
Ensure the product suits their needs
Use correct voltage and power supplies
Operate equipment responsibly
Protect the item from physical and electrical damage
